Owen read law at the University of Wales College of Cardiff and undertook the BVC at the College of Law in London. He was called to the bar in the United Kingdom by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in November 2000. Owen worked at Slaughter and May and Clifford Chance before returning to join TSN to practice at the Gibraltar Bar where he was called in February 2003.
Owen has a varied dispute resolution practice with a particular emphasis on defendant work in the areas of clinical malpractice, coroner's inquests and professional negligence. His client's include a number of key Government utilities and authorities including health, water and electricity. Owen assists in corporate cross-border restructuring projects, and trademark and patent registration. He also undertakes criminal law work in the Magistrates and Supreme Court. |
