Damon was educated at Bayside Secondary School, Gibraltar. He read law at Kingston University and completed his Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law. He was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1995 both in England and Gibraltar. Damon was a member of the Bar Council in Gibraltar from 1999 to 2007.
Damon has specialised largely in dispute resolution work which included both criminal and civil litigation. He has appeared regularly in all Gibraltar courts including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. In the civil litigation field he has dealt with cases involving personal injuries, medical negligence and Admiralty work. Damon also advises regularly in relation to probate and employment law matters appearing at the Industrial Tribunal courts in Gibraltar.
Damon’s practice now also encompasses a considerable amount of commercial and non-contentious work, and he has recently been involved in high value transactions, dealing with numerous major banks and other lending institutions. |
