Kelly Power

Kelly read Law at Newcastle University, going on to qualify for her Bar Vocational Course in the same city. She was called to the Bar of England & Wales by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in October 2009 and to the Supreme Court of Gibraltar in December 2009.

Kelly joined TSN in September 2009 and was appointed Director of the firm in July 2019. Kelly is a prominent member of TSN’s litigation team who appears before all levels of Gibraltar Courts and tribunals regularly.

She has a wide and varied litigation practice which includes dealing with contentious matrimonial matters, high value trust and commercial disputes and extends to the fields of employment and insolvency disputes. Whilst Kelly’s main focus is on general commercial litigation, she also regularly advises on probate and private client matters.

Kelly has been involved in large scale construction, commercial and trust cases during her time at TSN, acting on behalf of, inter alia, the Government of Gibraltar, international corporate clients, financial advisers and banks. She has worked on a number of high-profile cases alongside colleagues at TSN such as the liquidation of the business of Bernard Madoff, a dispute over the image rights of Argentinean football player Lionel Messi and various high value family trust disputes concerning multi-jurisdictional structures.

Kelly has also recently become a Board Member of the Gibraltar Law Council.
