Louis B. Triay is one of Gibraltar’s leading corporate lawyers. His client base is comprised of blue-chip and other quoted international companies, for whom he acts as Gibraltar counsel, and often sits on the boards of their local subsidiaries.
As the managing partner of TSN, Louis heads its corporate and commercial departments, specialising in taxation and cross-border restructurings, refinancings, mergers and acquisitions. He has a broad non-contentious practice, dividing his time between private client work, which mainly involves personal taxation and estate planning, and corporate work.
He continues to assist the Government and industry on finance-centre matters, tax, company legislation and corporate governance issues. He has served as a member of the Finance Centre Council and chaired the Association of Trust and Company Managers for many years.
Louis was educated at Worth School and attended the Council of Legal Education. He is a member of the Middle Temple and was called to the Bar in 1989.
