Owen Smith


Owen read law at the University of Wales College of Cardiff and undertook the BVC at the College of Law in London. He was called to the bar in the United Kingdom by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in November 2000. Owen worked in London for a couple of years before returning to Gibraltar to join TSN. He was called to the Gibraltar Bar in February 2003. 

Owen has a varied dispute resolution practice with a particular emphasis on defendant work in the areas of clinical malpractice, professional negligence, coroner's inquests and personal injury. He appears regularly in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. His client's include a number of key Government utilities and authorities including health, water and electricity. He also undertakes criminal law work in the Magistrates and Supreme Court.
