Joe’s practice covers the full spectrum of work carried out by the firm and he accepts instructions in all areas of practice. He has a specific interest in litigation and assists Senior Members of the firm with all their contentious work. He is particularly interested in commercial disputes and has gained exposure to high-value, complex litigation during his time with TSN.

Before joining TSN, Joe completed a Masters in International Relations at New College, University of Oxford. He initially read Geography at the University of St. Andrews, during which time he also lived and studied abroad in Kyoto, Japan, with Harvard University. Joe then attended City, University of London, for the Graduate Diploma in Law and Bar Professional Training Course. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales with the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple as an Exhibition Scholar in 2020.

During his studies, Joe volunteered for Advocate, the Bar’s Pro Bono Unit in England and Wales, an organisation providing legal assistance to individuals who neither qualify for legal aid nor who can fund litigation due to their financial circumstances. Beyond the law, Joe maintains an active academic and practical interest in both current and historical international affairs. He has represented Gibraltar on multiple occasions at Commonwealth events in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, including Trinidad and Tobago.

Outside of work, Joe is an enthusiastic tennis player and an ardent supporter of Arsenal FC.
