James Jacobson


James read law at the University of Leicester and completed his Law Society Final Examinations at Chester Law School. He subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in law from University College London. James was admitted as a solicitor of the Law Society of England and Wales in 1993 after having completed his articles of training with a boutique litigation firm based in Marble Arch, London specialising in Lloyds Names litigation. In 1996 James joined a small commercial practice located in Park Lane, London which predominantly serviced ultra-high net worth non domiciled individuals and their respective commercial, property and private client matters, and he subsequently became a Partner of that firm in 2001. In 2006 James relocated with his family to Gibraltar to work with a local Trust and Corporate Services company and was subsequently called to the bar in Gibraltar in 2011.

James specialises in all aspects of commercial and corporate matters including financing. He is also experienced in regulatory, banking, gaming and insurance law.

Outside of work James likes bird watching and relaxing by the pool.
