James joined the firm in September 2022 as a trainee solicitor. He was educated in Bayside Comprehensive School before going to Stonyhurst College where he obtained 3 A*s at A-level consequently making him a Gibraltar Scholar with distinction. He then went on to read law at the University of Leeds before passing his Legal Practice Certificate with a distinction in the University of Northumbria. Most recently James attained his professional certificate of Competence in Gibraltar Law which he completed in the University of Gibraltar having passed with distinction.
James was admitted, enrolled and approved as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Gibraltar in November 2023. He has completed all three of his commercial, property and litigation seats. James has worked on a wide range of matters in his first year with the firm and is now focusing on property law as well as taking a keen interest in construction law having already been involved in a number of construction projects in Gibraltar.
James is a sociable individual who enjoys meeting new people and forging close relationships. He is also a keen sportsman who has represented both his school, and university at first team level in rugby. James is also an avid golfer and was a former Golf Captain of Stonyhurst College where he achieved full colours for golf.
